The Studio Loz Hard Cap Wig Workshops are hitting the road.
Across the UK, Europe, USA, Canada and Australia, Loz will be teaching her one-of-a-kind hard cap wig making courses, sharing the sculptural techniques she has developed over 10 years of professional practice.
These workshops are designed for artists who want to learn how to build bold, structured wigs from the ground up — from constructing the hard cap base to sculpting the final shape.
The tour includes two workshop formats:
• A 5-Day Swirly Whirly Wig Masterclass across Europe and internationally
• A 2-Day Hard Cap Wig Making Workshop across the UK
Both are hands-on, small group workshops where participants learn the full process of building and structuring a hard cap wig.
Spaces are strictly limited in every city.
This immersive five-day workshop teaches you how to build a swirly whirly hard cap wig completely from scratch.
Starting with the foundations, you’ll learn how to construct a hard cap base, measure the head correctly and block the cap to achieve a custom fit.
From there, Loz will guide you through her signature techniques for wiring, structuring and sculpting wigs, including a system that allows the cap to be tightened and adjusted internally — keeping the wig secure even during high-energy stage performances.
Participants will then design and build their own swirly whirly wig, choosing their colours and creative direction while learning Loz’s cut and stick method for setting and shaping the hair.
By the end of the workshop you will:
• Build a custom hard cap base from scratch
• Learn how to structure and sculpt a wig
• Create your own swirly whirly wig design
• Learn the cut and stick hair setting method
• Gain professional techniques developed over a decade of practice
Participants also receive a workshop manual and materials list so they can continue developing their skills after the course.
You will leave with your own handmade swirly whirly wig and the knowledge to create many more hard cap wigs.

Alongside the international tour, Loz will also be running a series of two-day hard cap wig making workshops across the UK.
This condensed course focuses on the core techniques needed to construct and sculpt a hard cap wig, making it ideal for creatives who want a focused introduction to Loz’s methods.
During the two-day workshop you will learn how to build and upholster a hard cap base for a bespoke fit, before using hair and glue techniques to structure and shape your wig design.
Participants are free to design their own style or take inspiration from Loz’s work.
By the end of the course you’ll leave with your own finished hard cap wig and a manual to continue practicing the techniques at home.
