Hi, I’m Loz. First of all, thank you so much for stopping by!

My story with hard-cap wigs started years ago when I ended up working in a dusty old factory. I had the absolute pleasure of being taught the craft by a wonderful soul named Tyrone. He took the time to guide me through the world of mannequin hard-cap wigs, laughing with me (and mostly at me) along the way. We rolled out hundreds of wigs for major department store windows, and I still look back at that factory as the best foundation I could have ever asked for.

When Tyrone retired, I wanted to keep that rare knowledge alive, so I started teaching and spreading my love for the craft. Over the years, this skill has taken me all over the world. I’ve been incredibly lucky to collaborate with amazing creatives, big personalities, and fantastic productions across theatre, pantomime, fashion, drag, and visual merchandising.

Today, I run Studio Loz from my cozy, hyper-organised home studio in a beautiful green village area of East London (about 10 minutes from Stratford). It’s a small, perfect space where I live, work, and bring these designs to life.

When I’m not building wigs, I’m usually busy with my other creative passions. I’ve been a professional face painter for 15 years, and I’m also a painter, children’s book author, illustrator, and podcaster. I am an absolute people-person at heart, so when I'm not in the studio, you'll probably find me traveling spontaneously or working on new ideas in a local East London coffee shop.
