The course runs from 10am to 4pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

Join Loz for a five-day immersive workshop where you’ll learn how to build a swirly whirly hard cap wig completely from scratch.

Starting with the foundations, you’ll learn how to create a hard cap base, measure the head correctly, and block the cap to achieve a custom fit. You’ll also learn how to trim and wire the structure so it bends perfectly into place, plus a clever system that allows you to tighten and adjust the inside of the cap — ensuring it stays secure for even the most energetic stage performances (back flips welcome!).

Throughout the course, Loz will share the tips, tricks and techniques developed over 10 years of professional practice. You’ll learn how to fully structure and sculpt a wig, using hair and glue to build shape and form.

Participants will then design and create their own swirly whirly wig, choosing their colours and style direction. Loz will teach her cut and stick method for setting the hair, giving you the tools to confidently build and style hard cap wigs in your own unique way.

By the end of the workshop you will have:

• Built a custom hard cap base from scratch

• Learned how to structure and sculpt a wig

• Created your own swirly whirly wig design

• Learned the cut and stick method for setting hair

• Gained a collection of professional techniques developed over a decade of practice

You’ll also receive a workshop manual and materials list so you can continue practicing and creating after the course.

Booking & Payment Information

Places in the workshop are limited. Once the required number of participants has registered, all confirmed attendees will receive the full course details, including location, schedule, materials list, and preparation information.

To secure your place, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Your place in the workshop will only be confirmed once the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid in full three months prior to the course start date. Payment reminders will be sent in advance of the final due date.
